AnyDesk’s monthly figures are billed as one annual payment. When we checked, the pricing page showed discounted prices next to the list prices: Solo $23.12 instead of $28.90, Standard $39.92 instead of $49.90, and Advanced $89.52 instead of $111.90 a month. The renewal price after the first year was not stated next to the discount, so check whether the discount applies to renewals at checkout.

Two details matter when you budget:

  • Concurrent connections. Standard includes one connection, meaning one session at a time across your team. Extra connections were $44.90 a month each, up to 20. Advanced includes two.
  • Devices. Solo lets one user connect from up to three registered devices and manage up to 100 devices; Standard allows up to 20 users and 500 managed devices; Advanced allows up to 100 users and 1,000 devices, plus a command-line interface and MSI deployment.

The top Ultimate plan is quoted on request and can run in AnyDesk’s cloud or on your own servers, with single sign-on.

TeamViewer pricing

TeamViewer’s pricing overview page lists its plans and add-ons, but on October 31, 2026, the page text did not include plan prices. You see the price in the purchase flow or by contacting sales. Its terms on the same page say subscriptions renew automatically every 12 months unless you cancel at least 28 days before the end of the term, so set a calendar reminder if you buy.

Like AnyDesk, TeamViewer only requires a license for the person providing support, not the people they connect to. Extra capacity is sold as add-ons priced by endpoints, users or storage, and TeamViewer promotes AI features such as its Tia assistant and Session Insights, digital employee experience tools (DEX Essentials) and data protection under German and EU law (GDPR).

What AnyDesk costs in real scenarios

Because AnyDesk prices plans by users, devices and simultaneous sessions, the right plan depends on how your team works. Using the discounted annual prices shown on October 31, 2026:

Scenario Plan Cost per year
One freelancer supporting a handful of clients Solo $277.44
Small team, one support session at a time Standard (1 connection) $479.04
Small team, two sessions at once Standard + 1 extra connection About $1,017.84
Two sessions at once, CLI and MSI deployment Advanced (2 connections) $1,074.24

Our arithmetic: monthly figure x 12. The extra connection is counted at $44.90 a month; AnyDesk’s checkout may apply a different discount. Prices exclude tax.

The useful takeaway is that a second concurrent connection roughly doubles the cost of Standard, which brings it close to Advanced. If you need two sessions at once, compare Standard plus an extra connection with Advanced, because Advanced also raises the user and device limits and adds deployment tools for about $56 more a year.

Questions to ask before buying TeamViewer

Since TeamViewer does not publish prices on its overview page, go into the quote or checkout with a list:

  • How many people need a license (only those starting sessions)?
  • How many sessions will run at the same time?
  • How many devices need unattended access, and which add-ons are priced per endpoint?
  • Is the first-year price a promotion, and what will the renewal cost?
  • What is the cancellation deadline? Its terms say 28 days before the end of the term.

Write the answers down and compare the yearly total with AnyDesk’s scenarios above. That is the only fair way to compare two products when one publishes prices and the other does not.

Features compared

Remote support and access

Both tools do the core job: remote control of a computer, file transfer, unattended access to your own devices and session-based support for someone else’s. Both run on the major desktop and mobile platforms. For one person connecting to their own machines or helping family, the free tiers of either tool cover the basics, within their non-commercial terms.

Team and device management

AnyDesk ties its plans to clear numbers (users, managed devices, concurrent sessions), which makes it simple to know whether you fit a plan. TeamViewer builds up from a base plan with add-ons, which suits larger IT teams that need extras such as more endpoints or monitoring, but makes the total harder to estimate before you start a quote.

Security and privacy

Both vendors offer encrypted connections, two-factor authentication on accounts and access controls for unattended devices. AnyDesk’s top plan can run on-premises, which matters for organizations that must keep connection data on their own servers. TeamViewer highlights security “made in Germany” and GDPR compliance. If you want full control at no license cost, RustDesk lets you host the connection servers yourself; see our RustDesk review.
